Week 22 would have to be another of my favourites. The colour palette of this kit is just divine and is of course created by Miss Mint of Peppermint Creative. 'Hello Change' is one of those must buy kits. It is really easy to work with and all the elements seem to work well with some of Miss Mint's other 'Hello' collections.
For all those Rugby League fans, this week also saw the NSW Blues beat QLD in the State of Origin. This is something that they haven't done since before my first son was born. Even though I am not a die-hard fan, my husband loves watching the game and my boys have started to develop an interest, so I felt that I needed to document this for that reason.
My favourite photo on this page, however, has to be that of my set up for the monthly PL crop night I have been attending. My MacBook, chocolate, a bottle of Pepsi and my album are all I need besides the lovely, like-minded ladies I have met through this group of course.
I love getting together with them to chat, scrap and eat yummy treats on the last Friday of every month. Are you part of a PL or scrap group where you meet regularly? If you are part of such a group, I would love to hear about it.
Back to the spread ...
I dug into my stash of physical embellishments again this week, trying to use up all my little gold elements this time. I even found a gorgeous gold letterpress card in my stash from an old Studio Calico PL kit. The brush script on this card is beautiful and I knew I had to use it in one of my pockets.
Here are some close ups of the details.
And just for something fun, leave me a comment telling me your name, where you are from and something new you have tried on a layout of yours. (You can even leave me a link so I can see it)
Until next time ...
