Week 24 was seemingly just another ordinary week for our family, and it was, with the exception of a boys’ only trip to 'Train Works' train museum at Thirlmere. Reluctantly, I had to stay at home to write first semester reports for my students. Luckily, I was able to enlist the help of my husband to photograph the day... and photograph he did! So much so, that I ended up with 3 'G' inserts to mark the occasion. Upon sifting through the photos my husband took and the images I had, I decided to go with a Miss Mint kit for the third week in a row. What can I say; I love Miss Mint's stuff! (and no I'm not on her creative team or anything like that) Hello 'Let's Go' is the name of the kit, and I think the colours worked well with the mountain of images I had to work with.
The only non-Miss Mint embellishing on this page was some tiny Studio Calico wood veneer letters on the bottom left photo, an adorable red resin heart from Close To My Heart and the #BACON digital tamp from Wishing Well Creations - Insta-Foodie set.
I kept the first insert fairly simple again, letting Miss Mint's kit speak for itself. A bit of journaling, a filler card or two to break up the number of photos, a few digital stamps and a wood veneer or an enamel heart. This ended up being the formula for this as well as the subsequent 2 inserts.
And now for a closer look...
I love how these playground photos came out! Well done to my hubby for capturing these!
I also added a coffee break stamp to the bottom right photo. This stamp also came from the same Wishing Well Creations set.
